Woman Punched in the Face, Robbed

A St. Joseph's student is attacked and robbed after a late night stop at 7-Eleven.

A student of St. Joseph's University was punched in the face and robbed while leaving the 7-Eleven on City Avenue on Nov. 22, at 3:05 a.m.

According to police, the woman left the 7-Eleven, and was walking near the intersection of City Avenue and Orchard Road with between $20 and $30 in her hand.

At the intersection the woman, police said, came across three men who were all wearing hoodies.

One of the men punched the woman in the eye, knocking her to the ground, police said.

The woman was briefly disoriented due to the punch, and when she got her bearings back her money was gone as were the three males.

The woman was taken to Penn Hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
