Man Falls Asleep at Ardmore Bar

A man has to be taken to the hospital after falling asleep in a booth.

Lower Merion Police cited a man for public drunkenness after he fell asleep at Jack McShea's in Ardmore on Nov. 9, at around 11 p.m.

Police received a report of an unconscious subject at the bar located at 34 E. Lancaster Ave.  Upon arrival, police saw a 25-year-old man from Bala Cynwyd passed out on the floor of the bar.

His friend had tried to move him, and when he was unsuccessful laid him down on the floor.

It took several attempts by police to wake the man, and police determined that he needed medical attention.

The man was taken to Bryn Mawr hospital for treatment.
