Citizens Bank in Wynnewood Robbed

The robber passed a note to the teller, police said.

The Citizens Bank in Wynnewood was robbed Friday afternoon, Lower Merion Township Police said Monday morning.

The bank, at 25 E. Wynnewood Road, was robbed around 4:45 p.m. Friday, police said. The robber passed a note to the teller and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The robber is described as a white male, 20 to 30 years of age. He was wearing a Phillies cap, sunglasses, khaki pants and a long-sleeved, light blue shirt. 

Police searched the area but the robber was not located.
