PHILADELPHIA TO HOST MOMMYCON: A CONVENTION FOR NATURAL MINDED PARENTS

One of the fastest growing conventions is heading to
Philadelphia…MommyCon.  On Sunday, August 11th from 9am-5:30pm at
the Sonesta Hotel (1800 Market Street), approximately 350 modern parents and
mothers-to-be will come together to learn and see the latest in natural
child rearing practices.

A boutique style event, MommyCon’s focus is organic and
pure.  Over a dozen seminars and presentations will be featured on topics
such as birth, breastfeeding, natural health and wellness, Beco Baby Carrier
and Ergobaby present Babywearing 101, cloth diapering with Sloomb, green
living, and car seat safety presented by Clek.   Guest speakers
include Jessica Martin-Weber (The Leaky Boob), Abby Theuring (The Badass
Breastfeeder), Jamie Grayson (TheBabyGuyNYC) and many others.

MommyCon is transforming the way enterprises do business
with consumers by providing an  ideal setting for communicating new and
existing products directly to the consumer.

“We are thrilled to be hosting our only East Coast event in
Philadelphia this summer as the city provides phenomenal resources to families
in the urban setting,” explains founder Alexzandra Higgins.   “We
look forward to sharing our knowledge of natural parenting philosophies with
families from the greater Philadelphia region including neighboring communities
in Delaware, Virginia, and Maryland.”

MommyCon events enable companies, big and small, to showcase
their products directly to parents. Events target middle to upper income
demographic with a heavy influence on the 24-40 year old moms and
mothers-to-be.
