Penn Wynne Library 5-K Race/Walk

The
Penn Wynne Library thirteenth annual 5 K Race, for people of all
ages and physical abilities, will be held this year on Saturday,
October 12, at 9 AM. It begins at the Library, 130 Overbrook Parkway. Entrants may either
walk or run, for either all or part of the course. Strollers are welcome. This
year’s MC for the race activities is Karen Hepp, co-anchor of Fox 29’s Good Day
Philadelphia.

Brochures and registration forms for the 5-K race are also available at the
Library. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged: $50 per family and $25. per
individual.

All proceeds from the race go to the Library, which depends on
private contributions to maintain its collections.
