ReplyNot being a drinker I personally am not worried about being DUI'd but I have to agree with many on this topic especially mark. This is nothing more than more government intrusion and control over our lives. Since 9/11 we have been inching towards a police state. The Patriot act has been abused over and over again and is not being used for its original intended purpose. Seems to me .08 is a very sufficient limit and should not be changed And who polices the police????? Where will it end? George Orwell definitely knew something. And yeah it's ok to gamble as long as you do it with the government in one of the most rigged gambling processes ever. Every new law favors Government control. Wake up people. Heck even what we are writing today on this topic is being monitored.

ReplyWill this .05 be enforced for our Political figures, judges, police, etc. or will they continue to get the "good ole boy" treatment? I wonder how many cops or judges drive home after a tough day a little bit loaded and on the next day hang someone ellse out to dry? We have become the Roman empire. It is just a matter of time until we implode.

ReplyBob: Your headline was misleading. 82% of people DO favor legalizing Marijuna for medicinal purposes and the percantage that Want it legal for recreational use has been constantly rising over the years. Perhaps your headline should read "82% of Pennsylvanians approve of weed for medicinal purposes" Media spinning can change a lot of the real deal as a lot of people only read the headline. By the way who cares what one "Pole" thinks? I am not a weed smoker since 1987 however I will reiterate again, weed, alcohol, and tobacco should either all be legal or all illegal. Weed is the least damaging of all. NO QUESTION.

ReplyWhy is it that car adverts tell you "Buy this car for only $179 a month with no money down and 0.9 interest and then at the bottom of the screen they quickly flash the real deal for a mini second that you dont even have time to read any of it and even if you did you would need a magnifying glass to see that to get this deal you would need an almost perfect credit score, be willing to donate your first born, and you had better have bought your last car from the same manufacturer, etc. etc. I would like to see the networks tell the car manufacturers that all these disclaimers need to be in readable larger font and need to be displayed for a minimum of 5 seconds so all fully understand the "deal"

ReplySo True Shellie. A life was lost and I did not see anything that indicated he was a violent kid. More than likely he was killed because he may have been cooperating with law enforcement or at least the killers thought he was. And yes Andrew if weed was legal none of this would have occured. Legalize all drugs? hell no. Legalize marijuana--I need to hear one logical reason why not to. I will say it again and again---"If Tobacco and Alcohol are legal weed should be to" All three legal or all three illegal.

Woody--Good points. But you already do and have all these things done to you by those who have chugged down a few, What is the difference?
