Brooke Hoffman
Brooke Hoffman has been writing since the third grade. She has a master's degree in English from West Chester University and is currently working toward an MFA in Creative Writing at Rosemont College and a Certification in Fiction from New York University.
Professionally, Brooke teaches reading and advises the campus newspaper at Gloucester County College in New Jersey. Her work has been featured on the Web site Metropolis, Philadelphia magazine, and Examiner.com. Most recently Brooke has been able to combine her love for writing and music, covering many of Philly's local folk musicians as well as several national acts. Despite five years of guitar lessons in her youth, Brooke likes to categorize herself as an "audience member for life." She grew up on classic rock and spent her teenage years in the early '90s doodling Nine Inch Nail logos on her Chuck Taylors. Her first rock concert was Billy Joel in 1989, and her most recent concerts include AC/DC and Ozzfest with Motley Crue. She has also never worn earplugs.
