Officers responded to 46 accidents with property damage in the past week.
Calls for Lower Merion police response ticked up in the week leading up to Halloween, particularly for traffic accidents with property damage, department records show. According to a weekly report posted on the township's website, the department received 768 calls for service from Oct. 24 through Oct. 30, after weeks of 672, 659, 668, 644 and 608 incidents. Forty-six of the calls were for vehicular accidents causing property damage, after 32 the previous week.
