The new Ardmore Avenue brewcafe is hoping to open in late May.
"Some days, mostly weekends, it's almost impossible to get work done here," said Tired Hands owner Jean Broillet on Wednesday, when Patch stopped by for a tour of the brewcafe soon to open at 16 Ardmore Ave. That's because a near-constant stream of beer-enthusiasts and neighbors are stopping by the brewcafe to check on progress, tour the building, or sample some brew, Broillet said. "I try to be as open as possible—and this process is taking a while, so now that we finally have something to show them, I want to show them," Broillet explained. On weekdays though, the Tired Hands team is busy. Wednesday morning, the team was hammering floorboards, putting together doors, and installing the lighting to prepare for a hopeful late May opening. …

That Guillemot described on your website sounds delish. I'm lately a fan of sour ales, as in Flemish Sour Ales (Duchesse, Rodenbach, etc), I'm hoping they'll have something like these. more ›
