I've been to John Henry's easily over 100 times over the past few years. If it was as horrible as the troll 'Mary' claims (don't waste time reading her fake review below), I would never go back. John Henry's is my go-to place for good food, excellent service (especially the bartenders and proprietors) and a very comfortable atmosphere. Many people bring their kids to eat in the adjacent dining room and they have nice outdoor seating in the summer. The place is CLEAN and minimal decor in the bar and and homage to local colleges in the dining room. Service is decent (again, I don't return to places with bad service) and the crowd is generally low key during dinner hours and picks up a bit after 10 pm. Plus, sign up for their email news letter and they send you coupon's that take $5 bucks off a $25 order (bar and/or food). You can use it as many times as you want until it expires- not that it matters- they send a new one out every month. Did I mention daily $5 sandwich specials? They're all good- but in the spirit of full disclosure, I wasn't a fan of the pork and provolone- then again, unless it's slathered in bbq sauce and pulled off the grill. However, I've had the other sandwich specials, including the cheese burger and chicken sandwich, both which were delicious (and not dry or rotting, 'Mary') and I have ordered them several times. They also have B1G1 free appetizers 4-6 pm daily- which are AWESOME. Oh, and the salads are so fresh! Anyway- stop in and see for yourself.

Anyone has ever been to John Henry's Pub AND knows the owners will realize the previous review by "mary" (6/21/11) is absolutely FALSE and a bit slanderous. Sounds a bit personal and certainly NOT professional. In my opinion, disregard; Pop on in and form your own!

Absolutely horrible food and service.
Droppings all over the window sill in the restaurant. Burger dry and tasteless.
Chef Salad with chicken had rancid deli chicken meat instead of "real" chicken.
Flies and other insects abound. Waitress did not bring change to table after paying the bill. She had to be asked. Waitress had personality of a dead fish. Never again. First and last time.
