Incredible food, cool atmosphere - reasonable cost!!!
BYOB too!!!

Outstanding!!! The chicken is terrific. Sides are good too - try the collard greens and sweet potato fries. I can't for the life of me explain why people are complaining about the size of the chickens. We got the double chicken order ($26) and 5 people ate until we were stuffed. That's about $5 bucks a person. A great bargain considering a Primo's hoagie is $9.50. The place is small so, if you go at dinner time you probably will have a hard time if there are more than two of you. Great food - great price.

The chicken, ribs and barbecue are very tasty! I am not as enthusiastic about the side dishes. Our family assessment is that Barbacoa is great for meat eaters!

Liked the taste of the chicken, but they are TINY and a bit too salty for my taste!!! and you pay per piece NOT WEIGHT so not a good deal in my opinion. I hate their sides, mushy, tastless...
I found it pricey - since the chicken portions are so small....
No ambiance at all!!!
maybe good for takeout!

All the food is exceptional. They don't have much atmosphere, and it's often crowded, so I recommend take-out.

The restaurant serves chicken portions that are of the size you find in the world outside the U.S. I like that. My son is a big fan of their brisket. I like the sides, especially the collard greens, sweet potato fries, and creamed spinach. My friend Linda often serves Barbacoa's creamed spinach when she has guests over to her house for dinner.

mixed experience. Our first take out order was delicious though far from plentiful. Our second order was tough, cold and disappointing.

Great addition to our neighborhood! The aroma of the barbeque draws you in from down the street. Pulled pork sandwich is my favorite. The sweet potato fries are divine. Would differ with the previous review-I think that the portion sizes for the price are fine. Also love the funky metal chicken decoration.

The smallest chickens you've seen in your life. Since you pay per portion not per weight it is in business owner's business to keep them tiny........and sure they are!!!
They are tasty, however - worth checking it out, but I find them pricey for what you get. Sides are also small and not that impressive!
