Planning Commission, Early School Dismissal in the Week Ahead

Here's an assortment of things happening and things to know in Lower Merion and Narberth the week of Monday, Oct. 28, throughSunday, Nov. 3:

The Lower Merion Township Historical Commission will meet at 4 p.m. Monday, Oct. 28. Items on the agenda include Palmer Theological Seminary, Bryn Mawr College and Temple Adath Israel.

The Lower Merion Township Planning Commission will hold a special meeting at 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 28.

The Lower Merion Health Advisory Council meeting originally scheduled for 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 28, has been cancelled. The next Health Advisory Council meeting will be 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 18.

Narberth’s Borough Council committee meetings will be at 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 28. The Economic Development Committee, Health & Welfare Committee and Highway Committee all will meet.

On Thursday, Oct. 31, all Lower Merion School District students will have an early dismissal. High schools will be dismissed at 11:20 a.m.; middle schools at 11:55 a.m.; and elementary schools at 12:25 p.m. There will be no afternoon kindergarten.
