Open House: Rosemont School of the Holy Child will be holding an open house on Wednesday, Jan. 8, at 9 a.m.  Enjoy the magic of Rosemont School, an independent, coeducational, Catholic school, nursery to 8th grade, at our first Open House of 2014. Visitors will tour classrooms in our Academic Center as we "Nurture Excellence in a Joyful Catholic Community."  The school is located at 1344 Montgomery Avenue Rosemont, PA 19010

Recycling EventSt. Laurence Catholic Grade School to Host a FREE Electronics Recycling Event on January 11, 2014 for All Area Residents From 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

A new year has begun! Time to de-clutter your home of obsolete and unwanted electronics. St. Laurence Catholic Grade School is proud to sponsor a recycling collection event on Saturday, January 11, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on their premises located at 8245 West Chester Pike in Upper Darby. Fill up your car and our trained staff will unload it while you stay in the comfort of your vehicle!

This special e-waste recycling collection event is intended for items that are typically purchased during the year like toys, computers, laptops, flat screen televisions, cell phones, mobile devices and much more. “Anything with a Plug™” will be accepted and recycled…except large appliances, smoke detectors, glass (tube) TVs, and CRT computer monitors.

All materials collected will be recycled in an environmentally friendly manner and for your security, ALL media data that are collected are destroyed. A taste of Tu B'ShevatJoin the Israel Advocacy Committee of Temple Beth Hillel-Beth El for "A Taste of Tu B'Shevat." The event will feature special guest speaker Marina Furman, Jewish National Fund Regional Director.  The event will take place Sunday, January 12, at 10 a.m. at Temple Beth Hillel-Beth El, 1001 Remington Road, Wynnewood, PA 19096
