Kids' Circus and More Ahead This Week

Happy Monday, readers. Here's a quick preview of the coming week.

Below is a quick preview of what's ahead in Lower Merion Township and Narberth this coming week. If we missed anything, which is a distinct possibility, let us know in the comments below.

  • The Lower Merion Housing Element Committee is meeting on Tuesday at 5 p.m. to review the framework for a comprehensive plan. Click here to get the full agenda.
  • On Thursday at 7 p.m., Circus of the Kids is coming to the Kaiserman JCC, located at 45 Haverford Road, Wynnewood. The circus is a traveling program that teaches local kids to perform circus acts including trick roller skating, trapeze, juggling, and mini-trampoline. For more information on what promises to be a fun night, see the event listing here.
  • Think you have the finest pet in town? On Sunday at 11 a.m., you'll get a chance to prove it. This weekend the Penn Wynne Library is hosting it annual pet show. All well-behaved animals are eligible to enter. For more information, see the show's Patch event listing.
  • On Wednesday night at Ludington Library, a woman will share her remarkable journey. Diagnosed with stage IV ovarian cancer in 2007, she is now thriving six years later thanks to a combination of conventional medicine, natural therapies, and, according to the library, love. For more information, contact Ludington at 610-525-1776 or see the Patch event listing here
  • On Tuesday at 7 p.m., the Bryn Mawr Film Institute's Summer Classics Seminar continues with a screening of Brief Encounter, a 1945 Academy Award nominee about an unexpected attraction that springs up between a man and a woman at a train station in South England.
