Shredding, Recycling For Electronics and Thermometers, June 10

Small electronics and thermometers will be accepted at June 10's GreenFest event.

Gather up those small electronics, thermometers, and piles of old documents: A recycling and shredding event is coming to Ardmore as part of State Rep. Tim Brigg's third , held in conjunction with .

The event, planned for June 10, will feature on-site recycling, including small electronics recycling provided by ECOvanta and document shredding services by ProShred. 

According to a release, the event "will focus on sustainable practices for living green and will provide attendees with the ideas and tools needed to live a more eco-friendly life."

The event is scheduled to take place from 1 to 4 p.m. on June 10 at Schauffele Plaza in Ardmore.

GreenFest will include much more than just recycling—stay tuned for a longer post on Patch next week—but for now, start collecting items to recycle at the event.
