  • 8:30 to 9:45 p.m.

John R. Dorchester AKA Johnny Never – Guitar and slide, vocals
Johnny Never pays homage to Delta and Piedmont roots blues in a way that is unique, powerful and entertaining. His guitar work will dazzle and move you. They carve out creative original songs and old Delta sounds with an extra amount of energy and verve.  JNB owes its rich flavor to Robert Johnson, Big Bill Broonzy, Blind Boy Fuller and the organic music that grew out of the Delta and Piedmont regions of the US at the turn of the 19th Century. His performance includes the soul scorching sounds of Son House and the light rag time “piano guitar” of the piedmonts greatest players such as Blind Blake and Blind Boy Fuller.

Marshall Fleisher

  • Alley between Merion Art & Repro and Past*Present*Future
  • 7:30 to 9 p.m.

Come enjoy the fabulous acoustic guitar and vocals of Marshall Fleisher

T.B. Jones

  • Jack Burns Architecture, 16 E Lancaster Ave, Plaza 16, Suite 105
  • 7 to 9 p.m.

T.B. Jones, a Blues-Rock guitarist, singer and songwriter infuses the intense rhythms of the Mississippi Delta, Chicago, and Texas Blues with a contemporary rock sensibility. In acoustic shows, Jones conjures up the soul and haunting rhythms of the Mississippi Blues, layering smooth vocals over bold and complex guitar playing.

Alexander Uskuraitis & John Stovicek

  • Jack McShea's, 34 E Lancaster Ave.
  • 7 p.m.

Blues with a different voice. The Bazaraza Bounders. Accordian & guitar performing songs for Friday night Solitare players.
