Junior League of Philadelphia Harvest Hustle 5k Race/1k Walk

The Junior League of Philadelphia, Inc.'s Second Annual Harvest Hustle 5K Run/1 Mile Walk will host over 200 runners and walkers on Sunday, November 4, 2012, with the starting and finishing lines at Suburban Square in Ardmore, PA. The Run will start promptly at 8 a.m. and the Walk will start at 8:15 a.m.  


The event will be filled with runners, walkers, and joggers of all ages joining together to support The Junior League of Philadelphia, Inc. After the race, the League will distribute prizes to the overall first place finisher, as well as the first place male and female finishers. All children, adults, and families can take part in the fun! 


Registration is 6:30 - 7:30 a.m.
Run begins at 8 a.m.
Walk begins at 8:15 a.m.

Proceeds from the event will support the Junior League of Philadelphia's mission of training volunteers and women leaders and the League's Apple a Day (TM) Healthy Living Initiative, which increases access to healthy food and nutrition education programs while empowering individuals and children to become advocates for their own health.

If driving, participants should park in Suburban Square's West lot, which is accessed off of Anderson Avenue between Lancaster and Montgomery Avenues. Parking is also available in the East lot, between Montgomery and Coulter. If taking SEPTA, the Ardmore station on the Paoli/Thorndale line is just a block away. Please keep in mind that trains do not run frequently on Sunday mornings; the first train from Center City to Ardmore arrives at 8:05 a.m.
