  2. What are the three most important assets you will bring to the Board of the Lower Merion School District?
  3. What do you think is the single, most important issue facing public education today?
The candidates also submitted information about their involvement in the schools and other community groups, professional experiences and other qualifications.

After the interview process on Oct. 25, members of the public will have an opportunity to comment. Residents can also submit questions or comments for board consideration ahead of time to communitycomments@lmsd.org.

A member of the school board will nominate a candidate – who doesn't necessarily have to be one of the four interviewed – for the open position, and vote will be held. The selected candidate must receive five or more votes. If no candidate receives the required amount, additional votes will be taken until a candidate is chosen.
