Several Schools on 2-Hour Delay Schedule Feb. 22

Several area schools, including the Lower Merion School District, have announced 2-hour delays because of the overnight snow.

The forecast gives a 30 percent chance of a half-inch of snow before 9 a.m., then a clear day thereafter with a high around 31, according to the National Weather Service. No more precipitation is forecast until some Thursday afternoon rain.

The current list of schools is:

▪                Merion Mercy Academy – Open 2 Hours Late

▪                Penn Wynne Presbyterian Latchkey Club – Open 2 Hours Late

▪                Penn Wynne Presbyterian Nursery School – Open

▪                Perelman Jewish Day School, Stern Center – Open 2 Hours Late

▪                Waldron Mercy Academy – Open 90 Minutes Late
