LMHS, Harriton Graduations to be Streamed Live on School District Site

Harriton's commencement is tonight; Lower Merion High School's is Tuesday. Both start at 7.

Monday, Tuesday

Lower Merion Township's two high schools will hold commencement ceremonies over the next two evenings for more than 530 graduating seniors.

Harriton High School seniors turn their tassels tonight, while Lower Merion High School seniors get their diplomas Tuesday evening. Both ceremonies will be at St. Joseph's University's Hagan Arena, at 7 p.m.

Both ceremonies will be streamed live, via webcast, on at LMSD.org.

Both high schools held faculty appreciaton luncheons today, sponsored by the high schools' respective home and school parental organizations, school district spokesman Doug Young said.

Wednesday

The Lower Merion School Distict will hold a board meeting Wednesday evening at 8 p.m. Young said the board will be addressing the end-of-year budget and honoring parent leaders.

Also at the meeting, the school district will be honoring, in person, Penny Glackman, a NASA-trained educator at Merion Elementary. to receive the Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching.
