Junior Wins Mr. Lower Merion; Audience Donates to Scholarships
Josh Harper was chosen from a field of nine in the third annual competition.
The third annual Mr. Lower Merion contest drew a large crowd to the auditorium Thursday night to see senior and junior contestants compete for the title of Mr. Lower Merion 2012.
Junior Josh Harper was presented with a trophy and bouquet of flowers in front of a cheering crowd at the end of the two-hour program.
Principal Sean Hughes and senior Leo Koorhan emceed, and the high school dance team and a capella groups Ace Harmony and Ace's Angels performed. Donations from audience members (some of which came in via cell phone during the event) went to the LMHS senior class and the Lower Merion Township Scholarship Fund.
