Education/Special Meeting LMSD Board of School Directors

A special meeting of the board of school directors of the Lower Merion School District will be held in the auditorium of Penn Valley Elementary School (301 Righter's Mill Road) at 8pm on Monday, September 13th.

Agenda items include a vote on the collective bargaining agreement between the school district and the Lower Merion Education Association (LMEA, the union representing LMSD teachers and staff), a vote on plans for evaluation of LMSD professional and support staff, a summary of student performance on 2010 APY & PSAA exams, an update on the school counseling program and highlights from the 2010 summer program.

The LMSD board of school directors recognizes members of the public with questions or comments about agenda items at the beginning of all public meetings, and provides an opportunity for members of the public with questions or comments about non-agenda items to speak at the end of every public meeting.
