Author, 'Dish' Editor Andrew Sullivan Coming to Haverford College

'An Evening with Andrew Sullivan' will be held on Feb. 8 at 7:30 p.m. at Haverford College.

Dish Heads, unite.

On Friday night, Andrew Sullivan, proprietor of the wildly popular blog The Dish, will be speaking at Haverford College.

The Dish is a daily rundown of, and rumination on, a variety of political and cultural issues that are making news. It’s drawn plaudits from readers and critics alike for the range of opinions and positions it accommodates, and for the idiosyncratic perspective of its founder, editor, and primary author. (Sullivan is a gay, HIV positive, Oxford and Harvard educated, devoutly Catholic, self-described conservative, ex-pat Brit. He also writes a lot about facial hair.)

This month, Sullivan again made headlines when he moved his blog off of The Daily Beast and set out on his own. The site is now ad free and entirely supported by subscribers and a metered page view system.

An Evening with Andrew Sullivan is free, open to the public, and takes place on Feb. 8 at 7:30 p.m. in Haverford’s Roberts Marshall Auditorium.
