Quinnipiac University

Matthew Siciliano of Ardmore was named to the dean's list for the Fall 2011 semester at Quinnipiac University. Quinnipiac is a private, coeducational, nonsectarian institution located 90 minutes north of New York City and two hours from Boston. The university enrolls more than 6,000 full-time undergraduate and more than 2,000 graduate students in 53 undergraduate and more than 20 graduate programs of study in its schools of business, communications, education, health sciences, law, medicine, nursing and arts and sciences.

The following Ardmore Patch residents were among the 469 students who graduated from Millersville University of Pennsylvania during the fall 2011 undergraduate commencement ceremony, held Sunday, December 18 in Millersville's Pucillo Gymnasium.

Zachary A. Cohen of Merion, a senior at Millersville, has been named to the Dean's List for the fall 2011 semester.

Savannah College of Art and Design

Alix D. Leventon of Ardmore recently graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design, earning a B.F.A. in photography. The University for Creative Careers at the Savannah College of Art and Design is a private, nonprofit, accredited institution conferring bachelor's and master's degrees to prepare talented students for professional careers. SCAD offers more than 40 majors and more than 50 minors at locations in Savannah and Atlanta, Georgia; in Hong Kong; in Lacoste, France; and online through SCAD eLearning.

Nazareth College

Danielle Szulanski of Wynnewood has been named to the dean's list for the Fall 2011 semester at Nazareth College in Rochester, N.Y. Szulanski is studying music therapy at Nazareth, which was founded in 1924.

Messiah College

Tovah Wilson of Ardmore was named to the dean's list for the 2011 fall semester at Messiah College in Grantham, Pa. Messiah is a private Christian college of the liberal and applied arts and sciences, with 2,900 undergraduate and graduate students. Established in 1909, the primary campus is located in Grantham, Pa., near Harrisburg, with a satellite campus affiliated with Temple University in Philadelphia.

The University of Vermont

Alyssa S. Levy-Dougherty of Wynnewood received a B.A. degree in psychology within the College of Arts & Sciences during the 208th Commencement ceremonies at the University of Vermont, held in December in Burlington, Vt. The university conferred degrees on an estimated 394 graduates, including 324 bachelor's, 57 master's and post-baccalaureate certificate, and 13 doctoral degree recipients. Chartered in 1791, UVM was the first college or university in the United States that did not give preference to a religious sect in its charter and the first to allow women to join Phi Beta Kappa.
