Senior Fair At Harrah’s Philadelphia Casino Friday, May 17, 2013 from 9:00 a.m to 1 p.m.

In celebration of Older Americans Month, Delaware County Council and the Delaware County Office of Services for the Aging (COSA) will present a Senior Living Expo at Harrah’s Philadelphia Casino and Racetrack in Chester, May 17, 2013. The event is open to residents of any county, and the exhibitors generally provide services within the tri-county area. 

The event is free, open to the public, and will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Parking is free. Vendors will provide information on services, products, or programs beneficial to senior citizens. Blood pressure, diabetes, and other health screenings will be available. A pharmacist will answer questions regarding medication. There will be plenty of give-aways and raffles throughout the event. Entertainment will be provided and refreshments will be available. I will be attending, and I hope to see you there.

Information on the Delaware County Senior Games, which will take place in June, will be provided, and those wishing to sign up for the games can do so that day.
