Senior Expo this Friday in KOP

Senior Expo on Friday, June 17, 2011 from 11:00 am- 1:00 pm at Upper Merion Senior Center.

State Rep. Tim Briggs has planned his  annual senior expo for this Friday (June 17) from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., in the gymnasium of the Upper Merion Senior Center, 650 Henderson Road, King of Prussia PA. (610) 265-4715.

This expo provides an opportunity to explore many of the local goods and services available to seniors and their caregivers. Complementary lunch will be served to all attendees. While the expo is approximately fifteen minutes’ drive from Ardmore, Wynnewood  and Merion, many local services and agencies will be represented. The staff of the Palm Senior Center in Ardmore as well as representatives from Elder Net in Bryn Mawr will be there.

In addition to the private companies who be present, D. Bruce Hanes, Esq., the Register of Wills and Clerk of the Orphans’ Court of Montgomery County will also be there to explain the services provided by his office. Representatives from the Pennsylvania Department of Aging will answer questions and distribute information. Representative Briggs will be present to explain how his office has advanced the interests of local seniors. I will also be there again this year, and I look forward to meeting with anyone reading this blog.
