Prudential Fox & Roach Becomes Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Fox & Roach
With 65 offices across the region, there will be a buzz of activity on November 12th when Prudential Fox & Roach, REALTORS® changed to Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Fox & Roach, REALTORS®. Across the Delaware Valley building signs and yard signs changed from blue to cabernet, marking a new brand for the real estate market leader and many offices are hosting Grand Opening events to mark the transition.
November 12th celebrations begin at the Executive Offices/Devon Sales Office with a ribbon cutting officiated by Bernard Dagenos, President of the Main Line Chamber of Commerce. Company executives will include Chairman and CEO Larry Flick, President Joan Docktor and Trident President Gerry Griesser. The Bryn Mawr Office is having an open house, from noon to 5 pm with a special appearance by Michael Smerconish and a list of dignitaries including the President of the Board of Commissioners of Lower Merion Liz Rogan, as well as commissioners from three local municipalities including George Manos and Brian McGuire, Bala Cynwyd Commissioners; Scott Zelov, Bryn Mawr Commissioner; Bernie Dagenais, President and CEO of the Main Line Chamber of Commerce; and Kevin Murphy, President of Federation of Civics. Area food establishments will support the event with refreshments. Haverford Home Marketing Center is hosting a celebration from time 10 am to 12:30 pm with a ribbon cutting between 10 and 11am including a guest appearance by Bill Henley, NBC weatherman. Haverford Station Office is hosting a catered breakfast with agents, and their friends and family will be joining us beginning at 10 am. Malvern Paoli HMC is having a ribbon cutting at noon followed by a lunch celebration. In addition, the Rosemont Station, Gladwyne and Wayne Offices are hosting brand celebration events for neighbors and friends.

On August 14th it was announced that HomeServices of America, Inc., a Berkshire Hathaway affiliate, acquired Prudential Fox and Roach Realtors® and its subsidiary, The Trident Group, comprised of market leading financial services companies including Trident Mortgage Group, Trident Insurance and Trident Land Transfer Company.
The acquisition represents HomeServices’ expansion in the Mid-Atlantic and entry into the Tri-State region. In 2012, HomeServices closed nearly $42 billion in sales volume, over 145,000 transactions and closed approximately $4 billion in home mortgages.
