- Pending approval from the Lower Merion Board of Commissioners, former Ardmore Patch editor Tom Walsh will be appointed the new Public Information Officer for Lower Merion Township on Wednesday night. He replaces Brenda Viola, who several months ago. The commissioners meeting begins at 8 p.m. on Wednesday in the township building's second floor board room (75 E. Lancaster Ave, Ardmore).
