The Week Ahead: 5 Things to Know

A heads up for those who live or work in Ardmore, Merion and Wynnewood.

  1. Road reconstruction continues this week on Ardmore Avenue, Wynnewood Road and Railroad Avenue. According to PennDOT, it should be completed by July 20.
  2. The Montgomery County Health Department will conduct mosquito spraying in Wynnewood and Penn Wynne on Tuesday between 8:15 and 11 p.m., weather permitting. A rain date is set for July 18. Read on for .

Pending approval from the Lower Merion Board of Commissioners, former Ardmore Patch editor Tom Walsh will be appointed the new Public Information Officer for Lower Merion Township on Wednesday night. He replaces Brenda Viola, who several months ago. The commissioners meeting begins at 8 p.m. on Wednesday in the township building's second floor board room (75 E. Lancaster Ave, Ardmore).
