Republican Organizations Lead in 19003 Donations
Ardmore residents have contributed $374,743 to candidates and Political Action Committees in 2012.
Republican organizations have received more money from Ardmore residents this election cycle than Democratic organizations and candidates, according to data from the Center for Responsive Politics.
Of the $374,743 contributed to candidates and Political Action Committees this election cycle by 19003 residents, $246,363 was donated to the top 10 recipients, and of that number, 71 percent was contributed to Republican candidates and Political Action Committees.
The National Republican Congressional Committee is the top recipient in Ardmore, with $51,000 contributed by donors in zip code 19003, according to the Center for Responsive Politics. The Republican National Committee has received $49,750.

In terms of presidential campaigns, however, in 19003, President Obama's campaign has earned $32,301 and Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney's campaign has earned $30,500.
Obama ($3,269,793) has a lead in donations over Romney ($2,844,980) in the Greater Philadelphia/New Jersey area.

Residents of 19003 have contributed $374,743 to candidates and Political Action Committees in 2012, about eight times the contribution from the average zip code, according to the Center for Responsive Politics.
The contributions are based on Federal Election Commission data made available electronically on Aug. 6.
