Merion Civic to Host L.M. Police, Library Officials

Crime trends in Merion will be discussed Sunday afternoon.

The ’s 98th annual meeting this weekend will feature speakers from the and the Library System.

The police will present information that details the “latest incidents and crime trends in Merion including tips for crime prevention,” according to the group’s newsletter and web site.

And Director Christine Steckel will speak about the township’s six nationally ranked libraries, including the recent renovations and development at the Bala Cynwyd and Ludington sites.

The meeting will be held this Sunday, Oct. 16, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the (625 Hazelhurst Ave.).

All Merion residents—including children—are welcome, the Association says. Light food and refreshments will be served following the meeting and the speakers.
