Lower Merion Meeting Preview: Rezoning Workshop Cancelled

Tonight's City Avenue Rezoning Workshop has been cancelled. The Health Advisory Council meets at 7 p.m.

Lower Merion Township has cancelled the City Avenue Rezoning Workshop, previously scheduled 6:30 p.m. tonight. 

The next scheduled workshop will be June 2nd.

At 7 p.m. tonight, the township's Health Advisory Council will hold its regular monthly meeting in the Caucus Room in the Lower Merion Township Administration Building.

With Chair Eddy Bresnitz, members Kate Cornwell, Sara Slattery, Leigh-Ann Maltz-Dichter and Mark Bradley will be joined by Montgomery County Board of Health Liaison Bruce Silver.

On the agenda is a discussion of coming health awareness weeks (and similarly designated months), and the "Healthy People 2020 Initiatives."

Also, David Alfe of the Livengrin Foundation for Addiction Recovery in Bensalem (which has an outreach site in Haverford), will introduce Livengrin services and he availability for community involvement.

The next meeting of the Health Advisory Council will be June 13.
