Lower Merion Joins County for Campaign Sign Recycling Effort

Lower Merion Township is offering sign campaign sign recycling.

The following is a press release from Lower Merion Township.

Lower Merion Township is again joining Montgomery County in its sponsorship of a program to recycle all types of campaign signs, stakes, and posts this election season.

The collection program does not seek to take the campaign sign clean-up responsibilities away from the campaigns. Instead, the program hopes to connect candidates and homeowners with drop-off points so that signs can be recycled instead of thrown in the trash. 

Township residents can bring Election Day materials of all types, sizes, stakes and posts to the Lower Merion Transfer Station at 1300 N. Woodbine Avenue in Penn Valley. Signs and related materials should be dropped off from Nov. 6 through Nov. 20.
