Linwood Voted Ardmore Area's Best Park

The results of our weekly Readers' Choice poll are in, but the comments suggest that maybe we're asking the wrong question.

After a week of voting on the area’s best park it is safe to say this: the people of Ardmore, Wynnewood and Merion love their open spaces.

, but some readers just wanted to appreciate all the area has to offer:

“Can we have an "All parks are awesome" category?,” – from user

“What makes a great park is in the eye of the beholder - some people are looking for beautiful plants, some looking for shade and a comfortable bench, some are looking for a place to let their dogs run free, some are looking for a place where their toddler can play safely, and some are looking for a place for their older kid to play or have sporting events.

Instead of 'which is the best park' maybe it should be "Which is the best park for ____ " (fill in - toddlers, young kids, playing sports, reading a good book in a shady spot, having a picnic, taking a stroll, etc.). These are ALL great parks for different activities.’ – from user

Obviously not all parks are created equal, but do you think that any one park is quantifiably "better" than another in the Ardmore area?
