Public invited to take survey, attend meeting on Penn Valley planning.

Lower Merion Township has invited the public to attend it’s Feb. 6 Land Use Committee meeting which will focus on the future of the Penn Valley commercial area and is also asking community members to complete a pre-meeting online survey to provide recommendations.

According to a Jan. 15 Facebook post by NarberthOnline, the web presence of the Narberth Business Association (www.narberthonline.com), the Montgomery County Planning Commission is working with Lower Merion Township on the township’s comprehensive planning:

“The township is looking at its long range plan for the area which could affect things like zoning, transportation improvements, and streetscape design. As part of this project, there is a meeting specifically to discuss the Penn Valley commercial area. This area is, generally, that commercial strip of Montgomery Ave. which is Narberth on one side and (Lower Merion) on the other.”
