Wynnewood Burglary Suspects Arrested After Neighbor's Tip

A Wynnewood resident’s detailed 911 call led to police arresting two people on suspicion of multiple attempted burglaries Dec. 10, police said.

Corrie Decker, 28, and Kyle Monaghan, 24, both of Philadelphia’s Roxborough section, were arrested about 2:50 p.m. Dec. 10 on the 400 block of Fairview Road in Penn Valley, police said.

A resident near the intersection of McClenaghan Mill Road and Montgomery School Lane told police she was seeing two people fiddling with windows and screens on multiple houses. Police said Decker and Monaghan drove away just before officers arrived; they were pulled over for a traffic stop minutes later.

Decker, of the 7000 block of Ridge Avenue, and Monaghan, of the 500 block of Conarroe Street, each face multiple burglary-related charges, including three felonies and three misdemeanors. They are scheduled to have preliminary hearings Jan. 8, court records show.
