A fourth house was hit right around the corner.

One of the owners on Chatham Road came home to discover the basement door broken in half.

Police believe that the burglar entered the home through the basement, and then kicked out the door leading out of the basement that the owner keeps locked with a deadbolt.

Entry was gained to the other homes through a forced open back door, a forced open front door and a pried open window.

Police said that at each home it appeared that the burglar went straight for the mater bedroom, and only two of the homes reported objects missing.

Police said that a $300 watch was taken from one of the homes, while a jewelry box was taken from another.
