Rental Car Reported Stolen in Bala Cynwyd
A 2013 Chevrolet Cruze went missing in December.
The Avis Car Rental at 1 Belmont Ave. has reported one of their vehicles stolen, Lower Merion Township Police said.
The vehicle in question, a 2013 red Chevrolet Cruze, had been scheduled for return on Dec. 4, 2013, but was not returned.
All attempts by Avis to contact the person who rented the car were unsuccessful and on Jan. 8 the dealership reported the vehicle as stolen to police.
An investigation is ongoing.
