Police: Merion Home Burglarized

The burglar entered the home through an unlocked door, police said.

A home in Merion was burglarized on Thursday, Lower Merion Township Police said.

The home on East Wynnewood Road was burglarized sometime between midnight and 6 a.m. June 26, police said. The burglar entered the home through an unlocked door.

Taken were electronics, bags, cash and credit cards.

Police conducting a neighborhood check following the burglary spoke to a neighbor who said their doorbell rang around 12:30 a.m. June 26, but no one was there.

The neighbor subsequently found a step ladder propped up against the home. There was no sign of attempted forced entry, police said.
