Police: Convenience Store Clerk Robbed at Knife-Point

A 7-11 was robbed early Monday, police said.

A Lower Merion Township convenience store was robbed early Monday morning, Lower Merion Township Police said.

The 7-11 on the 1400 block of City Avenue in Overbrook Hills was robbed around 2:45 a.m. Monday, police said. A man armed with a knife robbed the clerk of an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.

The robber is described as a black male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, jeans, white gloves and white sneakers. He ran east toward the Dunkin Donuts on the Philadelphia side of City Avenue, police said.
