Police Blotter: Quiet Week in Ardmore, Merion & Wynnewood

On Monday afternoon, reported to news media the following incidents from the past week in Ardmore, Merion and Wynnewood:
Attempted burglary
Police investigating after a report of a suspicious vehicle Jan. 25 on the 1200 block of Drayton Lane in Penn Wynne found pry marks on a doorway. The marks were apparently left between 1 p.m. and 1:45 p.m.; the house was not entered.

Theft from motor vehicle
A laptop computer, iPod, headphones and loose change—total value: about $1,700—were taken from an unlocked Infiniti between 10 p.m. Jan. 25 and 9 a.m. Jan. 26 on the first block of Holland Avenue in Ardmore.

DUI
A woman from the 1400 block of Sunny Hill Lane in Havertown was arrested about 2:40 a.m. Jan. 27 after being pulled over on City Avenue in the St. Joseph's University area of Merion Station. Her blood alcohol content measured 0.121, police said.

A 35-year-old Ardmore man was arrested about 11:45 p.m. on Jan. 27 at Montgomery Avenue and Winding Way in Merion Station. His blood alcohol content measured 0.225, police said.
