Police Blotter: Alcohol- and Mustard-Related Offenses
This week's blotter included three alcohol-related offenses—and a mustard-related one.
Lower Merion Police Department relayed the following incidents to news media at a Monday afternoon briefing. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, they do not indicate guilt or a conviction.
Criminal mischief, public intoxication, disorderly conduct: A 51-year-old resident of Holland Avenue in Ardmore was charged about 4:45 p.m. Oct. 29 after police responded to the first block of Greenfield Avenue in Ardmore. A civil dispute was reported, in which the arrested resident had been trying to remove property from the Greenfield Avenue house and kicked in the front door.
Criminal mischief to car: Someone wiped yellow mustard in a wavy pattern on the front and back of a maroon Toyota Land Cruiser on the 1400 block of Manoa Road Oct. 29 or Oct. 30, police said.

DUI: A 22-year-old Philadelphia driver was pulled over at Lancaster and Anderson avenues about 2:15 a.m. Nov. 1 after police saw him strike a curb and keep driving eastbound on Lancaster. The driver was arrested and charged with driving under the influence after his blood alcohol content tested at 0.16.
Public intoxication: A 54-year-old man from the 100 block of West Montgomery Avenue in Bryn Mawr was cited for public intoxication on the first block of Cricket Avenue in Ardmore about 12:40 a.m. Nov. 3, police said.
