Police Blotter: Macy's in Suburban Square Robbed; No Suspects Reported

The following information has been supplied by the Lower Merion Police Department. If arrests or charges are mentioned, they do not indicate guilt or a conviction.

In addition to the , Lower Merion Township police reported to news media the following crimes and incidents from the Ardmore-Merion-Wynnewood Patch area in the past week: 

About $1,100 in Michael Kors handbags and wallets were stolen from  in Ardmore’s Suburban Square on Dec. 24, police said, around 1:30 p.m. 

Store security personnel were said to have identified three men, described only as black, leaving the St. James Place entrance. No age range, height, weight or clothing was described.

It is not known if the Macy’s security personnel confronted, gave chase, or saw the thieves.

Some time between Dec. 19 and 20 at  on Lancaster Avenue in Ardmore, a white, full-sized Ford sedan pulled onto the lot, police said—describing only two black males (one “dark-skinned” and another “light-skinned”)—who eventually took a dealer tag from one vehicle.

On Dec. 22, the baby and toddler shop in Ardmore was robbed. Taken were a stroller “with accessories” worth $1,482, police said.

No other information was available.

On Dec. 23, an unlocked Suburu Outback on the 400 block of Holly Road in Wynnewood was robbed of a "garment" and some loose change, police said.
