Lower Merion police responded to approximately 377 calls the week of Aug. 6 throughout Ardmore, Merion Station, Wynnewood, Penn Wynne and Haverford, the previous week.

From Aug. 6 to 12, the police calls (which do not necessarily indicate arrests were made or charges filed) included:

  • , two in Ardmore and one in Haverford
  • Four fires
  • Five cases of fraud
  • A terroristic threat, on the unit block of E Lancaster Ave. in Ardmore, at 9:47 a.m. on Aug. 8
  • Four car accidents with injuries
  • One simple assault
  • Seven thefts—three retail thefts, three building thefts, and one bike theft
