Police Activity: 22 Burglaries and Thefts in a Week in Lower Merion

Lower Merion Police Department logs its activity online each week.

 police again last week responded to 644 calls for service, up from a two-month low of , according to a weekly report posted on the township's website.

The most incidents since Patch began tracking the statistics eight weeks ago was  for one week in mid-August.

  • 5 burglaries
  • 8 for disorderly conduct
  • 2 for drug possession
  • 3 DUIs
  • 8 for fires
  • 5 frauds
  • 1 missing person
  • 5 vehicular accidents with injuries
  • 33 vehicular accidents with property damage
  • 2 rescues
  • 3 simple assaults
  • 16 thefts
  • 1 vehicle theft
