Merion Station House Burglarized

It happened sometime Sunday on Anthwyn Road, township police say.

A home on the 400 block of Anthwyn Road in Merion Station was burglarized sometime Sunday, Lower Merion police said Monday.

The homeowners left sometime early Sunday morning and returned about 8 p.m., police said. They found the master bedroom ransacked and a watch stolen. A screen had been removed from a window that was found ajar and that police believe was the point of entry. Both locks on the window were intact and undamaged.

Burglars also targeted Bala Cynwyd and Penn Valley homes last week, as well as homes in Gladwyne, Bryn Mawr and Villanova.
