Men Arrested for 2 Lower Merion Burglaries Connected with Another, Police Say

Lower Merion Police say there may be more charges to come for the trio.

Lower Merion Police have connected the three men who were arrested last week on suspicion of burglarizing a pair of Wynnewood homes with another local burglary, the department told reporters on Monday.

Clarence Sabre Glenn, 22, Eric Delmar Johnson, 37, and Tyrell Nasir Singleton, 22, all of Philadelphia, were each charged last week with multiple felony courts of burglary, receiving stolen property, trespassing, and other charges, after police say they burglarized a Wyngate Road home and a Warick Road home on June 10

At the time of the arrest, the department suggested there might be more charges to come for the men. They've started to come.

According to police, the most recent burglary occurred sometime between June 6 at 11 a.m. and June 10 at 8:45 p.m., when the owner of a home on the 1200 block of Wyngate Road was away on business. Police say the man returned to his residence, which he told police he had locked while acknowledging he may not have activated the alarm, and found several items out of place.

Lower Merion Police say they found indication of a forced entry on the first floor, and discovered that the master bedroom had been ransacked. The department says jewelry, some silver, and several other items were stolen.

After taking an inventory of the missing items, police say they were able to connect the trio to the crime. Because an investigation into a flurry of recent burglaries in the township is still ongoing, Lower Merion Police were unwilling to give further details on the evidence that allowed them to make the connection, or to release photos of the defendants.

Lower Merion Police added that they believe the three men may be involved in even more burglaries in the township.
