Jewelry Taken from Home on Hagys Ford Road

A couple returns home to find their bedroom ransacked.

A couple reported jewelry had been stolen from their house in the 100 block of Harvard Road on Dec. 4, police said.

The couple left their home as 2:30 p.m. on Dec. 4, and returned at 7:57 p.m., police said.

When they arrived home they noticed pry marks on a first floor window.  The couple exited the home, and called the police.

Police arrived on scene and checked the premises.  Police saw that the screen on a first floor window had been removed, and that the master bedroom on the second floor had been ransacked.

The owners did a quick inventory of the home, and told police that jewelry had been taken.
