Interested in Being a Lower Merion Police Officer?

Applicants do not need to be police academy graduates yet, the township said.

Lower Merion Township is looking to expand its police department.

The Lower Merion Police Department will be accepting application for the position of probationary police officer through July 18. The anticipated start date is January 2015, the township said.

Applicants do not need to be police academy graduates yet, the township said -- Lower Merion Police will provide a salary for a candidate while attending the Academy if he or she is selected for employment.
