Fistfight Over Laundry Detergent Leads to Arrest
Police news next door involved a few public disturbances.
Two bottles of stolen Tide laundry detergent led one Philadelphia resident to punch a Bala Cynwyd Acme security guard in the face, according to Lower Merion Police department reports released Monday, Feb. 14.
Bala Cynwyd Patch reports that the man was caught on video surveillance sneaking the detergent out of the store, and when later confronted, the argument became physical. Lower Merion police arrested the suspected shoplifter on Feb. 9. to read the full story.
