Alleged Ringleader of Main Line Drug Ring Pleads Not Guilty
Neil K. Scott faces multiple felony counts.
One of the alleged ringleaders of the Main Line drug ring pleaded not guilty on Wednesday.
Neil K. Scott already had waived his preliminary hearing, NBC10 said.
Scott, 25, of Haverford, is accused of working with Timothy C. Brooks, 18, of Villanova to employ high school students at Lower Merion, Harriton, Radnor and Conestoga high schools as dealers in their drug ring, Montgomery County District Attorney Risa Vetri Ferman said. Additionally, they employed college students at Haverford, Gettysburg and Lafayette colleges, the DA said.
The ring, described in text messages between the accused as the “main line take over project,” sold marijuana, cocaine, hash oil and ecstasy to students at Main Line high schools and colleges, Ferman said.
Scott was a 2008 graduate of the Haverford School who attended Connecticut College for three semesters before dropping out after being sanctioned by the college for using marijuana and creating fake IDs, the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office said in April at the time of Scott's arrest.
Scott faces multiple felony counts.
